Who needs Mulberry to have an Alexa

You may have noticed from my first 'Sunday Style Icon' that like Alexa Chung.

In 2009, Alexa chung became the muse from the British handbag company, Mulberry, which led them to create the 'Alexa'.

Well, they begin at around £500 and go up to £2,000, depending on the size and fabric you choose.

I was obviously not willing to pay that much, especially because i'm a vegetarian.

Earlier this year my craving for this bag led me to design and make multiples of them in different sizes and fabrics. This way it never costs me over £10 to make a bag and they make easy presents to give to friends.

And are of course animal friendly.

When Cold Think of the Summer

I hate when its summer and you wish it was winter because it is too hot but when it is winter you wish it was summer.

I have that feeling now.

But looking back at pictures from the summer I realise it was a really good summer, next week I may show pictures of an exciting summer or friends, festivals and France.

The picture is taken at a cafe in Paris which is apparently a very popular place to hang out if you're a cool writer which I would be if I could write. I'm sticking to sewing.

Dreaming of a White Christmas

This is a picture from last years christmas, sadly this year every chance of snow has been a disappointment for all the little children including me who is not that little anymore.

 This girl never goes wrong, everything she wears make me jealous.

 Model, presenter, designer and it girl, Alex Chung makes everyone want to dress like it was the 60's.

 Not just her clothing but her hair and make up are key to her look.
